KUmZ released their 4th CD entitled, "You Should Know By Now" on June 11th, 2013.
Following the amazing and humbling accomplishment of being selected as "Group of the Year" at the 2011 Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards, the KUmZ duo continues to strive forward in perpetuating the Hawaiian culture through music and dance with the release of "You Should Know By Now". The phrase "You Should Know By Now" comes from the song "Do I Love You?" However, the phrase first became familiar to KUmZ as their Kumu Robert Cazimero would always write it in notes, and cards, and even say it out loud "You Should Know By Now." The phrase has since stuck with KUmZ, as it is such a beautiful way to say I love you to someone and to express that sentiment of love.
The CD is filled with wonderful mele (song) written by KUmZ that tell stories of their haumana (students), places they have visited, as well as experiences they have shared together. The CD also features some mele that were written by the haumana of Halau I Ka Wekiu.
