Wekiu Ho'ike a good practice run for 2009 Merrie Monarch

The crowd was ready, the musicians set, and the costumes prepped. A final behind the scenes prayer and the girls were ready to perform. Ho'ike was held at the gym on April 12, 2009 at Mid Pacific, a familiar venue with the floor taped to mimic the Merrie Monarch stage.
